Description
Frosted ivory alphas with colour-blocked modifiers: navy, barn red, forest green, coffee and sand. The shells are translucent PC with a sanded texture, so light gathers at the edges instead of bouncing off a gloss. Cherry height, 135 caps.

The colour
Five colours do the work: a warm ivory for the alphas, then navy on the left modifiers, barn red on the right, forest green for the arrows and caps, coffee for the bottom row, and sand for the spacebar and brackets. It is a loud set laid out quietly, which is why it sits well on a white or silver board and gets lost on a black one.

Frosted, not glossy
The caps are sanded rather than polished. That does three things: the surface swallows fingerprints instead of holding them, direct light spreads across the face instead of leaving a hot spot, and the translucent shells glow faintly at the edges when there is a backlight underneath. The legends themselves do not light up.

The alphas carry the letter on the top face. Several modifiers, including Shift, Backspace and the arrow cluster, carry theirs on the front face, so the legends read from a low angle. That is the design, not a misprint. The sub-legends on a few keys, such as the small dots on S, D and F, mark the home row.

Cherry is sculpted: every row steps up and tilts back a little, from about 9.4 mm at the front to a taller top row.

- Printed legends. They sit on the surface, so the keys you hammer can wear over years. Nothing comes off in normal use.
- The shells are translucent. On an unlit board you will see the switch and the plate through the thinner caps. That is what makes the frosted look work.
- Colour reads differently in every light. The red goes brick in warm light and crimson under an LED. The photographs show both ends.
- Keycaps only. No keyboard, no cable, no case.
