Description
These are not white keycaps. Hold one up to a window and it glows — a milky, frosted light that reads as pale stone rather than plastic. The legends are translucent too, so at night the letters light up instead of silhouetting.
The three colours
| Colourway | What it looks like on a desk |
|---|---|
| White Jade | Warm ivory white. The most neutral of the three, and the one that shows backlight most evenly. |
| Green Jade | Pale sage green, cool but not minty. Reads grey-green in low light. |
| Pink Jade | Dusty rose, muted rather than bubblegum. Warmest of the three. |
What “semi-transparent” actually means
Light passes through the cap. On a board with an RGB or white backlight, the whole keycap glows softly and the legend glows brighter, because the legend is a different piece of translucent plastic set into the cap body rather than ink on top of it.
On a board with no backlight it simply looks like a soft, slightly waxy solid colour. It is not clear like acrylic — you cannot read the switch through it.
Two photos in the gallery show this directly — the warm close-up, and one shot of the underside of a cap where the light is coming through the stem.
Double-shot, and why the legend survives
The legend is not printed and not dyed — it is a second piece of plastic moulded into the cap. Wear the surface down and the letter is still there, and here it is also the part that carries light.
You can see the seam in the macro shot: the legend has the same hard edge as the moulded stem, not the fuzzy edge a printed legend has.
Shape
Cherry profile, sculpted — each row sits at a slightly different height and angle, so the caps curve up towards the back. It is the height most mechanical keyboards ship with, which means it will feel familiar if you are coming from a stock board and noticeably different if you are used to flat XDA or DSA.

Specifications

Before you order
- Injection marks are normal. Because the caps are moulded, small gate marks and faint dimples remain on the inside and along some edges — the supplier flags this explicitly. They are not visible from above, but they exist and we would rather you knew.
- 162 keys, not 118. Some of the supplier’s own spec sheets still quote 118. The set sold here is the full 162-key version, which is what the tray photo shows.
- Colour shifts with light. These caps pick up the colour of whatever is lighting them — warm bulbs push them towards cream, cool LEDs towards grey. Two sets from different batches can also differ slightly. That is the material, not a defect.
- Soft surface. The frosted finish is more prone to showing fingerprints and skin oils than a hard matte dye-sub cap. A wipe brings it back.
- Box and puller included. Caps ship in a moulded blister tray inside a printed box, with a wire keycap puller.
Keycaps only. The keyboards, cables and props in the photographs are not included.
