Description
A sewing button, moulded on top of a keycap: a raised ring, a four-hole centre and two short stitch marks on the side. It drops straight onto any MX board and turns one corner of the keyboard into the one thing guests ask about.
The colours
Three buttons, three bases
Each colourway pairs a coloured base with a contrasting button, so the cap reads as two parts rather than one painted block.
- Red – warm cream base, cherry-red button.
- Yellow – sky-blue base, butter-yellow button.
- Blue – blush-pink base, pale mint button.
Details
Moulded, not painted
The button sits proud of the cap in a raised ring, with the four-hole centre sunk in the middle. The two stitch marks on the side are part of the same moulding, so they do not rub off the way a decal would.
Everything is matte. There is no gloss and no shine-through, which means the cap will not glow if your board is backlit – it stays the same colour in the dark.

Compatibility
Will it fit
| Setup | Works |
|---|---|
| MX-style switches – Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu and copies | Yes |
| Escape, or any 1U position | Yes, that is where it is designed to go |
| Backlit boards | Fits, but no light comes through |
| Low-profile boards | No – it is a tall sculpted cap |
It sits noticeably taller than the keys around it. That is the point, but keep it away from tight rows.

Before you order
Before you order
- One keycap per order. Picking a colour buys that single cap.
- Matte, no shine-through. Legends are not printed on this cap, so there is nothing to light up.
- Treat it as an ornament. It is a sculpted cap, not something to press hard on.
One keycap per order. The keyboard in the photographs is not included.
